At first I thought Diorama......but it's not like I think one would be. Next guess is a dollhouse Cabin.

Replied, but didn't post. Can take more pics tomorrow. Can offer that it has a wind-up musical charm and place for a battery aft that illuminates a light on the table..Thanks all

It looks like a model / diorama of a log cabin. Very cute!! I love it.

I only brightened it a little. It's like an electrical shadow box. It is what it is.

The large crucifix on the shelf in the left corner makes me wonder if this was a souvenir of Bavaria or another highly Catholic region of Germany?

It doesn’t look like any of the commercially produced log cabin music boxes I’m seeing. Looking forward to more photos. :)

I think this is more 1930s/40s
    Used to be very popular.

There are tons of these around and many labeled West Germany. As 1930s/40s would be smack in World War II, I would date to post- and beginning of mass tourism era.

I haven't seen that. If so then would be 1950s

That etsy seller is...hopeful. And way off target. I agree with mass produced 1950s-60s .

    I saw this:

... and had an out of body instant, thinking
@Mharvey's granny had been sitting on a genuine Louise Nevelson!

It is really cute, Mharvey, and welcome.
It is such a cultural feature in Bavaria and other regions that it has a specific name in German: 'Herrgottswinkel', literally Lord God's corner.
The shape of the table legs/supports and the painting on the furniture also points to southern Germany and neighbouring areas.
