It's metal, and the circular knob slides, pushing out a thin piece of metal, which is flexible. It has no Mark's on it. Ok,folks........what the heck is it???

    No......it appears intact. The tip is rounded, but unbroken.

    it's a scribe , welding chalk goes in one end , pushes out with the slide , maybe , i could add as i might be wrong .

    this is just for chalk yes, but when you are up 10 floors, you need both in one .old squares didn't come with one back then .
