What is this?

I bought this blue china-type ceramic piece the other day. I have no idea what to label it as, is it a vase? It has a handle on-top but I cant find any vase with a handle online.

Thank you, is there a special name for this type of oddly made vase?

 

I don't know if there is a real name but you may find some called porcelain basket vase or something like that. I think it's probably quite modern.

 

I’ll look into that thank you. I thought it looked more modern than the rest of the blue I’ve seen
