Featured What is this?

Def not antique! but Google is confused by the fabric pattern and won't help me figure out what this is.

There's cardboard inside the fabric, which is glued to it-- no room to slide a notebook back cover into it, or any such other thing.

The 'booklet' is 4.5" x 6.5" (11x17cm) and the ceramic 'bead' is 1.5"+ x .75" (4x2cm).

Found at an estate sale with some Asian stuff, but mostly tourist-y stuff.

I like it. Looks like an ikat weave.
