Featured What kind of beads are these ?

    These beads are cool to the touch and are on the heavy side. They were so reasonable I could not pass them up.

    The circled ones look like jasper. Not sure about the greenish ones.

    Agates of some sort.

    Agree, all chalcedony (quartz) of one type or another. When it's opaque it is usually called jasper, as cluttered said. The larger beads are harder to 'read' from photos. Depending on the material they were cut from, they may or may not technically be agate, a term used for certain formations of chalcedony, but agate is probably the most useful term for an Internet search. It looks like hobbyist stringing, done very neatly.
