What kind of beads are they? really small found in backyard

    They look like glass and could be trade beads.

    Little white glass seed beads. Very common. They could be from the 1960s or later. I guess there's a crazy outside chance that they are older, but probably not.
    These beads were usually made in Czechoslovakia. Used in crafting and jewelry making, they would have come from something like this:

    Czech beads are much more regular, almost identical to each other. I worked a lot with Czech beads. Even India and Hongkong beads are, though not as regular as Czech beads.
    It is the irregularity that made me think older. They look hand cut (from a glass tube), rather than machine cut.

    Some hippies may have had a party in your backyard once, like 1968 or so. Those parties sometimes got a little wild. Beads could have been lost. Not much hope of them finding the original owner to yours by now. (Does your mother still live in your house? Nev'a mind.. better not go there.) Okay to save in case needed for a beaded jewelry repair of course, if you're into vintage beads.

    The beads could be a couple hundred years old,were there any Native American settlements in the area?
