Any chance these larger beads are egg yolk amber?

    Not amber.
I'm struggling to remember what they are called.

They are like a reconstituted amber - starts with the letter "C"

Need to go take my Vitamin E

Bone, random rock, nickel and probably plastic beads from India. Age...good question - anything from 1980 on up. The amber could be one of the reconstituted products, but could just as easily be pure faux.

I think perhaps yellow resin from Nepal?

Copal is what I couldn't remember this morning.

Can you find a seam on it? If so, plastic.

Oh yup, there's a seam in it. Good tip.

Figures. They wouldn't use anything good on what's primarily a costume piece.
