Found this photo out thrifting. It is 11" x 14". It has a good amount of age to it. I have never seen an old photo printed on board before. any ideas on age and value? TIA

Around 1900 there were a lot of photos printed on very thin paper which was then affixed to board

The image was published (plate 37) in 1958 in a collection of photographs - "Children of Many Lands", edited by Hanns Reich. It is credited to the German photographer Kurt Schraudenbach (1912-1967), and was taken in Chicago.

So the image probably dates to around the mid 20th century. Based on your description, I cannot say when your object was created, or what the actual medium is. If it is a photographic print, I would expect it to be printed on a photographic paper which was then mounted on board.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Also, there have been many editions and printings of the book, both in English and in German. German title is Kinder Aus Aller Welt.

My first impression was that the image on the board is not a photographic print, but printed in some other method. But I can't really see the details well enough to be sure of that.
