Featured What kind of print ? artist ?

hi peeps

found this today at a boot sale was only a pound, quite hangable for me so no worries if its nothing

its not a dotted kind of print though, wondered what the printed specimen in the corner meant

under glass so hard to picture

i googled the title which brought up nothing surprisingly

my kind of art though, i like it

any thoughts or help appreciated

 

Maybe pochoir. Interesting that it says "Specimen" in the corner.

I presumed it was a print of something well known, has that look about it

So seems to be a woodcut by Maurice Delcourt, but the added text makes me think a while after

I wouldn't be too quick to write it off as a repro. It would be good if you could get someone familar with woodcuts to look at it. The paper does look new, but maybe they just used good paper.

Don't know if the imprimerie lahure part is a clue to its origin

 

That font that it is printed in makes me question any serious age
