What kind of table is this?

    The table is about 12" x 12"x24" and is solid cherry. there are small (6"x8") pull-out shelves on each side. I vaguely remember my mother mentioning something about games or cards. When were tables of this sort made and by whom? Thanks for your help if you recognize it!

    I don't know, but with all 4 side pulling out, looks like it kind of lets you sit back a bit and "hide your card hands" I think!!! BUT then, I'm NO great card player either:joyful::rolleyes:

    It is a table that looks to be factory made about mid 20th century or later. It is a mix of antique styles. Heavy turned legs and bottom stretchers look kind of William and Mary style, combined with pull out slides for drinks sometimes seen on Queen Anne tea tables. Overall I’d call it a William and Mary style table with pull out slides. Not historically accurate, and sure, it could be used for cards too.
