    hi guys

    might be an easy one for someone

    cant find any info on artist so probably unknown, but might appeal to someone who likes tigers

    the surface looks like some sort of carving, etching ?

    does that mean its not a print, im confused

    bit of foxing

    any thoughts appreciated

    Linoleum block? If it is, that's pretty darned detailed for that, but still....

    Nice drawing!

    I was going to say it looks like a scratch board drawing... what it's called in the U.S. I did some in an art class when I was in school. It's an interesting way to draw since you're reversing what we usually think of light and dark elements.

    I was going to say scratch board. The same as scraper board...begin with a black surface, and use little tools to scrape away the black to create an image.

    it mentions on the back of the board about indian ink, so i guess thats what its coated in before the drawing starts
