Acquired this unmarked cookie jar with the same aftermarket paint job as this Red Wing bowl. Cleaned the worn paint off the bowl with alcohol. Should I clean off the jar too?

I clean't it. Now, after looking some more, it appears that crappy paint was originally done at Red Wing Pottery.

Been there, done that. Hey, if it's crappy looking paint, it's crappy looking paint.

At least you can scrub it off.
