Im thinking this is around 1930s, Czech but please correct me if need be. It’s 44inches long. The faux pearls are coated and there’s base metal filigree but it’s the other beads that I can’t figure. At first I thought baked clay as they are very hard but they don’t seem to be porous, then I thought some sort of plastic, plus they’ve got this random spotty design. Just hoping someone has seen these before. Thankyou.

Ceramic? Tough to know with only visuals to go by.

    Ceramic or glass frit?

Yes, but handling them doesn't seem to give any extra clues. The weight seems too light for ceramic, they don't feel like plastic but the sharp edges make me think maybe they are. The frit Sandra refers to could be glass spatter.

Could be Sandra. Maybe glass frit on ceramic or even ceramic glaze baked on. Doesn't seem this decoration was too popular in the bead world as I can't find anything else but it can't be the only one.
