I went to Replacements a few minutes ago to see if I could find a few of the glasses I just picked up, and YAAAH! What the heck did they do? I found it very difficult to search without knowing the name of the maker.
Have other people noticed this? Am I overreacting?

Even when you have the maker name, searching is a mess. Been that way about 6 months I think.

It won't let me do any refinements either?!

Can you give a quick process of what you're doing? I just did the following:
    1. click china-dinnerware
    2. click patterns
    3. shows a grid view of all patterns
    4. select a dish
    5. under refine results, select piece type
    6. select baking dishes
    7. shows 37 results
    No problems.

Maybe you're using an old browser? Internet Explorer sucks, too, if that's what you're using.

I'm using the latest greatest version of Opera on a laptop.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I don't use Replacements often but I just did some keyword searches and it seems to allow refinements in drop-down menus on the left side of the results screen. But I wasn't looking for anything in particular... and I did search a maker name. Also just searched without a maker name. But I don't have an actual item to look for.

So you are trying to search something when you don't know who made it?

I cleared all my history and it seems to be working now.

I overreacted, hah, hah. I really use that site as a reference a lot. I sell tons of vintage glassware in my store.

    I have Firefox sabre123.

Glad you've got it sorted out!

    FF is an excellent browser.
