    Made in China

    This is too blurry for me to read. Someone else might be able to figure it out.

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    No, I think he means the 4 VERY BLURRY letters before 'made in china'!! The second letter 'could' be a 'W' and the last letter 'could be a 'G' or 'e'.....third letter a 'possible' 'X' or 'Y'.......
    that's as much as I could clarify them!

    There is probably more info printed on the back of the clock. Crisply focused pictures of front and back would help a lot to be able to read any marks on the front or the back.

    I don't think China manufactured Art Deco clocks in the 1920s or '30s and this clock is a reproduction.

    @komokwa
    I was mainly looking for a clock with those three stair steps on each side. That beauty was the only one on the whole worldwide interwebs that turned up. It seems like internet search engines are getting dumber everyday.

    Yandex found a tiny thumbnail picture of clock like @Adam1 's but it's a dead link to Instagram. Disappointing. I was hoping to see better pictures and more info.

    I know it's a repro or fantasy reproduction, but I'm so curious to find out what the word on the left says.

    Geez, I really went down a rabbit hole looking the clock up:)
    I did some searching under 'bird brand alarm clocks China' - sellers seem to think these clocks shown are from the 1960s (no idea if that is correct information) - they could be I guess, the hands in the clocks I posted look to have the 'glow in the dark green' on them. I know they still have 'glow in the dark' stuff on clocks these days, but I believe it is a different material used? I think the blurry marks next to Made in China in the op photo are Chinese characters.

    here is on with a similar bird, but no marks/letters beside Made in China
