What type of glass is this???

    20180127_170555.jpg my 89 year old grandmother gave me this today? No markings an it' not a bell hollow on the inside under the dress anyone guess time period or type of glass.. carnival glass?? 20180127_170555.jpg

    It's iridescent glass. I'm no expert but I believe it's by Boyd Glass and is Elizabeth though I'm not sure about the size. Here is a list of dates by color so 1990's or later I believe. Someone else will probably know for sure. Wheaton is another possiblity.

    20180127_200018.jpg the woman in the middle has a metalliclook to it like my fenton bell does but who knows both my other pieces are marked fenton

    The metallic look is caused when metallic salts in hot water are sprayed on hot glass. The water evaporates and the metal has an iridescent sheen. This is the way carnival glass was made.
