WHAT TYPE OF HORN HAS NO VALVES?

    I just won this in a online auction for $45. I like the look & thought it might be military or a fraternal organization with the rope, and I was sure it had to be worth more than I paid, but when I googled wind instruments horns with no valves - nothing came up?
    Can someone tell me what kind of horn do I now own - and please tell me it's not just decorative!

    Bugle. I know a guy who sells militaria-thingies, and he had about half a dozen of these for sale at his stall once at the market. Some were really pretty.
