What type of wood is this chair?

    I have had this chair for a while. Wondering what type of wood it is. The color looks like mahogany. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Usually chairs such as these are made of walnut. This looks to have been refinished with a mahogany stain. Need more photos to tell definitively which one it is.
