What was it for? I thought I knew once....

    I thought it was a pastry tool but I can't find confirmation of that notion.

    I hope my ignorance ends up of benefit to someone somewhere with old stuff in a box !

    Here it is - 5" from handle end to handle end, the working surface is 3 3/16" wide.

    It's for pleating.
    There should be a base that it fits in.

    Well, if you can't find the bottom piece I guess that would make some cool looking pasta shapes! :)
