I got this today but I can't find what it is. Maybe a scoop? or a ladle? Also, I'm thinking it is Kangxi because of the rust spots and the mark on the bottom that looks like an artemis leaf. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Here are some pictures of it. art1.jpg art2.jpg art1.jpg art2.jpg art3.jpg art4.jpg art5.jpg art6.jpg art7.jpg

    Hi Matt,
Looks like a ceramic copy of a water bucket. It is 12" high or 3" high.

I'd say Japanese as they are known to make such shape but could have been made in China as well.

Would you be able to discern how old it could be?

Planters don't have drain holes. If they do, they're called flower pots and have saucers.
