What would this old BOTTLE be for? Netted

    We IMG_2037.JPG IMG_2036.JPG IMG_2038.JPG IMG_2035.JPG IMG_2035.JPG We've been told it's an old hot water bottle but I'm not so sure. What do you think.

    It measures 6" long x 4" wide.

    Often called "knotted bottles" or "rope net bottles". Originally sailors would cover their bottles with knotted net rope to protect them from breakage. Now it's done as a hobby and many people use old bottles.
