What's the flower / what's it for?

    Not a stopper, the bottom is a little wider than farther up. About 1-1/2" deep inside. 3/4" wide at the base. 3" overall height.

    looks like a finial of sorts...or a curtain rod end....?

    Fairly common finial shape. No specific plant intended.

    It has other floral touches, but at bottom an acanthus leaf shape.
