I wanted to show you what I found at a yard sale yesterday. Googling it I know it's a gas powered clothes press/iron, but while I did find some with the brass ball in back, I didn't see any with a stainless steel/chrome iron.
    Is mine rare?
There is no maker's mark anywhere - any way to tell who made it?
How did it work? Did they put liquid gas or propane type gas in ball? Seems to me mixing gas & heat isn't a great idea!
Either way - it's a cool piece, no?
