    Pretty small buttonhole - 9mm

Must be for a woman carpenter, thus the bent nail

Eh, not ambidextrous, but can hammer a nail quite well, as well as handling a variety of hand and power tools - at 15 was working construction with my brother for my father's company, picked up my skills from my Mom, as did my brothers...

Hehe, Mom was definitely no 'Betty Boop', she was a Daddy's girl who, in a family of four girls, was his main helper (and my brothers learned from him too, but he died when I was three) - she went straight from her 1943 high school graduation to working as a driller in the Wichita factories, building the planes used in WWII. She was a 'Rosie the Riveter': https://www.history.com/topics/world-war-ii/rosie-the-riveter

I remember your tribute to her when she passed (not so long away...), so moving!
    She was a super woman/mom!

Awww, thanks - she was great, and even in her eighties, handled a drill like it was a natural extension of her hand. Those women were heroes, doing the same work as the men, though paid much less, Mom was very young, but many had children, their men fighting overseas, yet they showed up every day, working hard for the war effort (doctors believed Mom's serious and fairly early hearing loss was due to the noise from those years).
