    Dennis Tjaden Old ball coach......

    I thought this was an interesting vase with a moon theme. Can anyone tell me where it was made and its age? I know it's a long shot to name the maker.

    Most likely Mexican and contemporary. In the style of Carlos Villanueva but don't think it is his. His pieces are well marked.

    I'd have said Japanese, oddly. We got a lot of that kind of clay and glaze speckled stuff here in the 70s. And the sun face and blue lining, too.
