    US and Europe.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

    PS:
Bought this beauty at a flea market last Saturday.

    fire.jpg

Wide vertical laurel branches on either side, at center, the relief image of a deserted battlefield with at the forefront, the relief image of a World War 1 Belgian helmet over a bayonet, farther and on a slight elevation at left, a 75 mm howitzer, at upper right, the Sun breaking through clouds.

"SALUS PATRIAE SUPREMA LEX" roughly translating into "THE NATION'S SALVATION IS OUR HIGHEST DUTY". Designer, "A. Rombaut".

Reduce the picture size to below 1mb then you can place the picture within your post.

Guns, there you have something which we can't really trade (nor collect) in. Crazy gun laws.

If its military badges, medals etc then I use eBay.
Bayonets & knives I list on eBay.com because they are not allowed on eBay.uk
I change the shipping prices accordingly and put "Cutlery Item" on the customs form.

    It's from a grave. About 6 inch x 6.5 inch. 1.8 lb in brass.

You mean someone pried it off a stone? I hope not. There were a series of thefts in our area of metal grave markers for Veterans, Masons, etc. We ended up bringing home the ones from Jon's grandfather's and great-grandfather's graves to protect them.

Belgium isn't a real country and people don't care that much about veterans. It was in the news that already 1/3 of the veteran graves have been removed. On a thread, while looking for more information, was a guy telling how his dad collected (saving them from being sold as old metal) a few while working for the city.

Leaving aside the military cemeteries (often in a very poor condition, but that changed a bit because of the $$$ 14/18 hype), those graves are just being removed if the family no longer pays for the concession.
