I’ve been drinking my scotch from this in the past couple of years and always staring at it in wonder. Did what I could to Google search but I’ve never seen anything with this kind of molding. Seems unique so I’m wondering when and where and who made it? 16B3571F-D1E0-4B12-8E3B-174F30806DAF.jpeg 45D05DA5-DB6A-4C41-BC91-033B838B112E.jpeg

for me it's in recognizing the motifs... thanks to McCain for her EAPG book based on motifs, and those online references using motif searches. As a retired/used-to-be architect, I 'get' the design details...

I thought EAPG meant Early American Pattern Glass. Because the pieces were always part of a larger pattern of different items; plates, tumblers pitchers, compotes, cream & sugar, etc.

You are right, Ola, some "pattern" glass is blown.

The "Faces" you see are the result of pieces/flakes of glass remaining in the mold from the previous pressings. Its just lower quality glass, not anything intentional.
