Picked this up at a yard sale for a buck, 1/2 gal size 8 inches tall x 6 inches wide or there abouts, searched and only saw a 2 gal size. Any info appreciated! Oh BTW the coin is a colorized silver eagle also was a buck! :cigar::cigar::cigar:

    Hi,
It is in a wonderful state I am thinking of a reproduction. Ask at Crockers.com if it is real they will quickly answer your question. If it is a repro they will also tell you quickly.

The Silver Eagle for a buck? Great deal just for the silver content (31 grams of .999 Silver) - let alone the collectibility.

got a reply back from crocker farms,

"Thanks for your photos. This is original, but would have been made sometime in the first decades of the 20th century or so. Because of this, it tends to fall a little outside our area of specialty, but would have some value to bottle / advertising collectors, and might do fairly well on eBay, for instance-- though probably not higher than the $100-range. I hope this helps, though, and thanks again for considering us with this."

    Best,
