White/green agate looking bangle

    Here is a bracelet I bought this afternoon. It looks like jade but I'm trying to avoid putting that word in the title so I dont unnecessarily excite people.

    It's a stone of some sort though, cold hard and smooth. White greens and browns, i assume dyed agate of some description?

    1.7cm thick, inner diameter 6.7cm

    It's definitely a jade-wannabe. Sesame jasper is another candidate, if not quite. Not agate per se, but close. One of the real experts will be along shortly who actually knows what it is.

    It doesn't look like the serpentine I'm used to, but it wouldn't surprise me. Real jade would.

    it looks opaque, if so we could rule out serpentine and jade right?

    It is a Chinese bangle. It looks like a natural mineral mix called saussurite. Chinese saussurite is often called Dushan jade, but it contains no jadeite or nephrite, so no jade.
