Featured Who is this queen? Princess? Old Photo Brooch

    Sorry for all these posts recently. This will be the last one for a while (hopefully). I'm trying to figure out who this woman is. She looks very regal. Gilt brass brooch, I think. I've spent the last hour googling royalty between 1910-1930, and I can't seem to find her

    Because people often call things like this cameos, I see them regularly & know I have seen this figure many times, possibly as little Limoges plaques set as jewellery. OP's is different in looking more like a painted photo.

    Think I just looked for 'vintage portrait miniature brooch woman scarf', something that way.

    I had exactly the same thought, for exactly the same reason. But I agree... no.

    Interesting. She was a Georgian character, not Victorian. Dead in 1810 so can't be a photograph of her.
