Who made this box? Lowestoft? New Hall? Someone else?

The bronze fittings don't look very English to me, but what do I know? The mark is impressed and then gone over in the blue. The mark looks very familiar. The porcelain is kind of bubbly and it looks like maybe soft paste. box1.JPG box3.JPG box6.JPG box7.JPG box10.JPG I don't think it is Chinese, but European. Thanks for your help in advance!

I certainly don't think it's British in any way. The colours are all wrong, so is the decoration, including that rather giveaway Chinese chop. ;) I'm also not convinced it has any great age. I suspect Oriental, probably Chinese and 20th C.

Thanks so much, Ownedbybear. The quality appears to be lacking as well for an old English company.

Most welcome. And yes, I agree - I don't think the fineness is there. Pretty, though.
