    Hi Folks.
Picked this up at the flea market today with a bunch of other goodies. I gave a dollar for it , but have had no luck putting a name to it. It is marked HVS '85 on the bottom with the c inside a circle.
    Thanks for any help.
    Kevin.

    Thanks Joy and Jivvy.
A guy at the flea market had a couple tables full of goodies priced at $1 for any item. Just too hard to resist. Bought this and an Inuit soapstone carving , a Murano art glass flower vase , a big ole black glass cut diamond candy dish , a paperweight and a onyx trinket box. Makes for a fun morning.

    Neat piece!
I hope you are going to post the rest of your goodies, we all love looking at stuff:) I'm wondering about that piece of glass that is partly showing in your first photo

    cxgirl,
The piece just barely showing in the picture is one of two Murano swans I picked up today. I got the pair for $8. The black glass piece in the middle cost me a $1.
    I love the flea markets!

    very nice Kevin:)
I think the swans are Sooner Glass, not sure about the black piece.

Thank you so much cxgirl , I had seen them generically called Murano and assumed that was what they were. I learn so much here at this forum.
    Thank you again ,
    Kevin

You definitely did. Thank you again , so much. It is fun to learn about the objects I find at the markets. My wife put up with me for a good 3 hours today while I shopped around for treasures.

What a wealth of knowledge here!! You folks are unbelievable. I really need to brush up on the items I am buying. I just go for what I like as long as the price is reasonable. I really need to learn to recognize the items when I see them.
    Thanks so much UncleChuckTX
