I found this jardiniere in Toronto Canada. It appears to have a mark on the bottom that looks like an M. I have looked and looked and never found a jardinere with shells and the solid green colour online.

    Any ideas?

My first guess would be Brush/McCoy also but I didn't see it in a quick search through my books (however there are a LOT to look through, especially with all the reprinted black and white catalog pages). Perhaps what looks like a shell is something else (that would give you some better search hits)

Well, I've not seen it in a book, and the glaze color doesn't look like a McCoy or Brush to me. The initial or marking on the bottom is not those either.

Saw similar at the thrift store today with a china sticker on the bottom. Crazing and all.

China would not surprise me at all. The bottom of the slip where the chip is - is still very light in color and not even dusty from sitting on top of a shelf.
