Who's got good eyes? Impressed pottery mark

    Bought this 'cos it vaguely reminded me of Wemyss.

    Can anyone make out the mark on the lid.....? It sort of might say Wedgwood, but it's nowt like that.

    First part gestalts as Wedgwood for me. Did they ever make this sort of thing?

    Looks like WEDGWOOD to me, too... but something after that, which seems unusual. It looks like the lid has a lot less crazing than the pot does...
