    Howdy all!!

    these killas have a cool coin style backing. Any ideas on age, origin or maker? They are wired as you can see below the faux coin.

    I think someone made those up. The dangles look as though they came from an older chain linked necklace and the earrings may have just been the coins at some point.

    Yes, that backing is one of those think aluminum craft "coins." The kind was sees on belly dancer scarves. Not all with traditional Eastern motifs; some have Western heads.

    I've a scarf with those. Ma bought it for me from Morocco in the early 70s.
