Wood cared Figure

If anyone can help with information on this it is appreciated. I think this is African.....wood is almost like stone not ironwood....seems to have a black paint and maybe white not sure though......seems very old.....only about 7 inches in length

 

Probably from east Africa. The bust form is a relatively recent style, designed for souvenir sales. I suspect yours is one that has been artificially aged. Here is an example of the typical style:
