    First guess would be African, but I'm generally wrong. I like it though. Somebody put in a goshawful amount of work on that thing.

    I agree, African. I believe these are made in Ghana.

    It’s supposed to be Kenyan wedding eternity/unity loop/knot.

    “ the smaller loop symbolizes the bride. It is placed under the large loop (the groom) because the husband will be her hunter and protector for the rest of their lives. The two loops stand for the two individuals that have become joined through marriage but are still two individual people.”

    So far I’m finding only similar made of stone but not wood.

    It may be an Indonesian copy of the Kenyan kisii stone objects. There are many Indonesian carvings that look similar to the kisii stone decorative items:

    If it sells and they can make it in wood, they will make it.
