    Like this one but missing the candle holder itself? I wouldn't be sure it's saleable without that element.

    if the hole goes right through, maybe it is a lamp base?

    There's a crack at the top. I suspect it was damaged in a fall and the candleholder fell off.

    what is the base weighted with ?

    it's nicely carved but as a single damaged stick..... the value is what someone will pay for it... which would not be much..
