    Measurements might help. . .

    I'd guess a 'notions' box for on a desktop or writing table to hold pens/pencils/paperclips/erasers/loose sheets of writing paper/etc.

    I think its a 1960s-70s homemade version of a lap desk,and I like it.

    Well, it’s an external seller so not that surprising I guess. I did not know there were sellers with vintage items.

    I know they have third party sellers but always thought they sold products that fit into the Walmart range.
    So, they do something like Amazon I guess.

    I do not know what else is listed by other sellers, but if you think about it this box is something you could potentially find at Wal-Mart. However I doubt they would try to tell you that it was vintage or antique.
