Wooden Keg with brass bail handle and fixtures Can you tell me anything

    Can you tell me about this wooden keg, age origin, what is was used for? has a couple brass stacks, one maybe a vent of some sort. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    The crescent moon and star suggest it may be Islamic.
    Turkey and Pakistan use the symbol on their flags, other than that I don't know.
