    Hi everyone,

Any ideas of the age of this sewing table/box? It was given to me so I don’t know much about it but I presume it is English. The table has a tray that sits in the top with a green velvet like fabric on the bottom (needs some repairs). The top of the box looks like it has been revarnished.

Any more information on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Just a guess, but English, circa 1860s? Im not sure that tray is the original. Pretty thing and quite useful.

Don't think it is quite as old as Johnny suggests. Circa 1900 and English to my eye. Agree that there is something going on with the top. If original, someone has done it a great disservice.
