What ?!? Is depression glass resurging ??? Im astonished at those prices.

 

Butter dishes in good shape with no flaws can sell very well. Any piece that was not common would. For every 12 dinner plates or cups an saucers you would only need 1 butter dish, so they are more rare.

I'm still buying depression Glass in the better patterns when I find it. It's my roots in glass collecting. I'm also buying the Elegant DG patterns when I find it. I hope it resurges. If not, I'll have some damn elegant dinner parties.

 

I buy both regularly, I sell quite a few sets of Elegant Depression era wines and footed tumblers, have for years

 

I was excited to get 10 of these today @ $2.00 ea.

 

I found two for sale currently at $30 and $76 (the second down from $95). Much the same as @sassafras quoted.
