Would these earrings be considered modernist?

    I'm terrible with try to figure out styles. What would you call these sterling earrings? Thanks :)

    I would expect circa 1950's Mexican markings on those.

    That's what I would have thought too, but they are only marked sterling.

    Looks a lot like one of the first projects we had in jewelry making, mid 60s high school.

    Cut the design out of the metal and solder a back to it.
    Can't remember if there was a name for the process or not.

    I'd call it MCM.

    I'm betting they're attractive when worn. The design is simple enough to go with just about anything.
