I inherited this desk around 35 years ago and I haven't really taken much notice of it other than using it briefly as a computer desk. It currently sits in the spare bedroom.

Can't decide what to do with it as it really doesn't fit with our decor.

I'm not at a valuation as such, but would like to know more about it if anyone can help as I know absolutely nothing.

    Many thanks..

    It's a nice desk.
    Late 1800s Looks American.

Unfortunately furniture prices are not very good right now.
Maybe $200 retail, in my area of northern CA.

    Different areas, different values.
You do have functionality going for you. It would make a good computer desk.

There are alot of people who buy this type of furniture on the cheap and then paint it. In this case it would be a real shame to do that.

    Wait for other comments

Ca. 1900 walnut desk. Nice storage and functionality. I'd expect to see it go for about $100-$150, maybe more on a good day, in my part of the U.S. Midwest.
