    Agree with Komo's comments. Low budget mahogany fall front desk ca. early 20th century. Still better than Ikea.

    Those drawer pulls look interesting- do you have a closeup of them? I don’t have any reason to disagree with the posts above, but I’m continually surprised that these haven’t made a comeback, since one can tuck a laptop/iPad and all the peripheral items away neatly and (relatively) securely.

    Pulls are for a renaissance revival piece circa 1870, so not correct for this.

    Thanks! They looked unusual to me for that sort of piece, but I didn’t know enough to know why. Now I do! The depth and breadth of the collective knowledge in this group, combined with a willingness to educate others, is a real treasure.
