WW2 Marine Pith Helmet color ?

    My father went through Boot training at Paris Island in 1942. What would have been the color of the pith helmets used by the Marines at this time. . . green, tan ? Hayden-S-960x640-300x200.jpg

    Probably tan. Kakhi or some such.
