Featured WWI brass buttons and trench knife

    When my grandpa was in WWI, he traded uniform buttons and ended up making a belt of them. Pretty neat stuff!

    Those are two great pieces of history right there. The fact that they came from your grandfather makes them that much more special. My great granddad served in WW1. I have nothing physical to remember him by, only my memories of him as a kid. So you are lucky in that aspect.

    What a great way to display buttons! I have all my mother's, father's and uncle's military stuff and now I have an interesting way to display some of it.
