Hello! Does anyone recognize these candle holders?

Approx. dims are 5" diameter x 2" tall.

They have a scratched number "44" on each of the bottoms.

    I appreciate any help!

I suspect they were molds sold to hobbyist and then glazed and fired.

Hmmm...you could be right. They just look so familiar. They seemed to be similar to Haldeman, Metlox, or Gladding McBean. But, I couldn't find a match with those makers. And, the glaze is so good. So smooth and satin-feeling. Seems professionally done. I don't know.

    Thanks for responding!

My guess is that they were part of a set with a console bowl - quite possibly Haeger. Finding the bowl would be a start at the id of the candle holders.

Here are some candle holders made by Haeger. The bottoms look quite similar. 2 Royal Haeger Pottery Hickman #R438 Rose Bud Leaf Shape Candle Holders_jjj 133.JPG 2 Royal Haeger Pottery Hickman #R438 Rose Bud Leaf Shape Candle Holders_jjj 134.JPG

Well, I can't find anything other than the candle holders you've shown, Kathy. I'm gonna say these are not Haeger.

Not that I know anything about this stuff, but no one has mentioned the 2 different sizes of the "vents" in the bottoms of the Juli's "pair." They appear to be the same outline and size, but the holes are different. Shouldn't this difference mean something?
