    Hello everyone,

this old gal has been following me around for many a year.
I was wondering if anyone might take a gander of age or where she was maybe made?

    Thanks in advanced.

Thank you so very much for the advice and patience.
I am embarrassed to say that I had difficulty, but now I think all is well.

    Yes....I agree.....boudoir doll.

Not in very good condition. Pretty coiled braids which were quite nice at one time.

The outfit does not look original, but can't say for certain from the pictures.

They were popular through the 40's. I remember neighbors had them on their beds.....probably into the 50's too.

As with most antique/vintage/modern dolls, not as much interest as in the past.

I just sold a very nice one.....not much money, and she was quite nice.

I'll post photos a bit later. Too early here now..........I just got up! LOL!

Please, do not be embarrassed by not being able to post your photos without help. It happens to the best of us.

This doll was constructed beautifully by a home sewer.

    $50...........

When dolls were popular a few years back, I sold in the $100 to $300 & up range.

Not done by home sewers, but manufactured. Some had mask faces, some composition.

They were cheap dolls when new. Materials were not the best, but they were popular.

Thanks Judy, the only reason I know Vogart is from some kits I had to sell.
Otherwise I have no craft skills. :p

thank you for the info everyone.
Boudoir doll, terrific, fun to know some of the history.
1920s does seem to fit the hairstyle.
    Thanks again.
