I have found several similar example, however the other listed have marks which are not typical for these types of teapots. Here is the closest piece with the same mark - http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANTIQUE-CHI...led-Vines-VINTAGE-SIGNED-TEAPOT-/111433658913 .

The others are here - http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=teal+yixing+teapot

    and here - http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=teal+yixing+teapot&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc

I'm hoping someone can shed some light as to age or maker. Thanks, Joe

It's just a generic "Yixing Purple Sands" mark, not the mark of a particular maker or shop.

With the missing decorative element on your pot, I doubt it has much value beyond use as a teapot.
